I hold a PhD in Statistics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where my dissertation examined multiple testing procedures for controlling the false discovery rate in genomic data. I also hold a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics, both from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, where I graduated cum laude.
Until June 2026, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Biostatistics Group at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), working on high-dimensional hypothesis testing, false discovery rate control, and Bayesian methods, with applications spanning imaging genetics, protein domain analysis, and neuroimaging. Before that, I spent several years as an Associate Professor in the School of Statistics at the University of the Philippines, Diliman.
